美国北达科他州立大学高分子材料&涂层研究组结合SVET技术用金属电极探测铝合金的腐蚀行为,多种金属丝被嵌入绝缘材料中。这样即使在电极表面没发生电化学反应,仍能将局部的腐蚀情况和电化学反应收集到一起。(Corrosion Science)

SVET has been used to monitor the behavior of bare Al 2024-T3 and maps of the current density have been acquired to understand the behavior of this alloy under corrosion. In these investigations, the current density distribution showed the corrosion/passivation behavior of the metal surface. Current was high at the early stages of the process and then decreased very rapidly (over a time range of a few minutes). The oxidation current reached a maximum value (about 100 lA/cm2) after 77min of immersion and after started diminishing.
